Registration

Residents in the Okemos Public School District Enrolling NEW Students into Grades K-12

There are no eligibility requirements for our 3 traditional district-wide full-day Kindergarten programs, other than age. Children entering Kindergarten in the fall must be 5 years old on or before September 1st of that school year. If a child is not eligible for enrollment per the guidelines specified above, but will be 5 years old by December 1st, a parent or legal guardian can apply for a waiver to enroll the student in Kindergarten.

(NOTE: Families intending to register for Okemos Public Montessori at Central (OPM) need to participate in the enrollment lottery and should not complete OPS registration until they have been accepted. Visit the OPM homepage under important information for more details regarding the lottery and registration.)
